Welcome to the Points Squares Game

This application allows you to play a classic squares grid game without any monetary stakes. Each participant picks squares on a 10×10 grid. Once every square is filled, numbers 0–9 are randomly assigned to the rows and columns. At the end of each quarter of a game, the last digit of each team’s score is used to find the winning square. How the Game Works

1. Set up the grid: Begin with an empty 10×10 grid, giving you 100 squares to choose from【158290247858350†L33-L36】.
2. Assign teams: Pick one team for the columns and one for the rows【158290247858350†L42-L43】.
3. Claim squares: Participants take turns selecting one or more open squares on the grid until all squares are filled【158290247858350†L49-L54】.
4. Randomize numbers: Once the grid is full, numbers 0–9 are randomly assigned to each column and row【158290247858350†L62-L66】.
5. Determine winners: After each quarter (or half), look at the last digit of each team’s score and find the intersecting square. That square’s owner wins for that period【158290247858350†L70-L79】.

In this implementation, winners earn points instead of money. The admin can add or subtract points from player balances as needed.
